of Lake Caloosa, 45 minutes from Disney World, Cypress Gardens, and many
other attractions. The town of Babson Park, a small, residential community,
is located in the heart of Florida's citrus country near a chain of freshwater
lakes. The area has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

More than 60 percent of Webber’s full-time faculty members hold doctoral
degrees. The faculty/student ratio is 1:19, and all students are assigned
a faculty adviser.

environment for students. Field trips also supplement students’ education.
A study-abroad program for students working toward a bachelor’s degree is
offered for one or two semesters in Barcelona, Spain, or Paris, France.
The hospitality, tourism, finance, and marketing departments have arrangements
for internship programs with major hotels and restaurants in the Orlando

departments of local corporations, both in-state and out-of-state.

is a modern and comprehensive business library facility. The collection
currently contains about 35,500 volumes, an assortment of audiovisual materials,
and a CD-ROM computer program for reference materials. The library houses
computers for student use. Several research databases are available for
student access. The computer resources centers are data processing centers
and teaching facilities whose microcomputers offer the latest modern technology
for developing student excellence in business, communication, and creativity.
