About Brewton-Parker
College
Brewton-Parker College
is a private, four-year liberal arts institution that offers excellent
academic programs informed by the Christian faith. The college's motto
is "Train your mind; Follow your heart." At Brewton-Parker College
our students broaden their minds and have their faith strengthened in
and out of the classroom. Our goal is to develop servant leaders who will
excel in their chosen careers and communities.
The campus is located
in a small town in rural Georgia between Macon and Savannah. It is a good
place to study and form deep friendships. Intramurals and campus organizations
are very active and involve the entire campus, including the faculty and
staff. The bond developed between students, faculty, and staff makes Brewton-Parker
College a unique educational atmosphere.
This fall, Brewton-Parker
College will be opening a new Student Center, which will include a 1,500-seat
gymnasium. Its athletic program is a member of the NAIA and supports basketball,
soccer, fast-pitch softball, baseball, and volleyball. In recent years,
several of the school's athletic teams have advanced to the nationals
and the baseball team was National Champions in 1997.
Brewton-Parker
College has an excellent, well-staffed library. Technology resources of
the college include computer labs that are available for instruction,
as well as individual use every evening and on weekends. Internet access
