Autumn Is a Great Season to Visit St. Bonaventure University.
We are the nation's leading Franciscan University, and our campus is one of the nation's most beautiful.
Follow this link to see our fall schedule of events for prospective students.
Rich in student culture and values, St. Bonaventure's campus of 2,200 undergraduates is an ideal environment for learning. The average class size is 22 students and nearly all of our students live on campus. You may have heard about our men's basketball team, which consistently attracts national media attention, but there's more to the Bona experience than what you have seen on television.
U.S. News & World Report and the Princeton Review have each recognized our school as a solid value, and the John Templeton Foundation rated St. Bonaventure as one of only a small number of schools that build character. Don't limit your opinion about our school to what the "experts" say though. Consider that almost 85 percent of our freshmen return for their sophomore year, and 60 percent will graduate in four years or less. Both of these statistics are better than the national average, and they show that our students are academically successful, as well as socially and spiritually satisfied with their Bona experience.
If you are interested in a traditional liberal arts and sciences major, a career as a teacher or journalist, or the solid professional preparation that a business degree will provide, we have an academic program that will exceed your expectations. If you want to be part of a vibrant, positive community that expects the best of students and faculty, then you should consider St. Bonaventure University as your college.
